Online endorsement applications for state level races will go live on March 15, 2023.

NWPC-VA endorses in state level races. For federal races, we follow the protocol of the National Women's Political Caucus. See here.

NWPC-VA has 5 basic criteria for endorsement.

The applicant must:

1. identify as female;
2. support full reproductive rights, including abortion;
3. support certification and publication of the Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution;
4. support legislation that provides increased access to childcare and other dependent care programs;
5. have met all the requirements and has been declared an official candidate by the Virginia Department of Elections.

Primary Endorsement Application Deadline - April 1, 2023 at 11:59PM ET 

General Election Application Deadline - August 18, 2023 at 11:59PM ET

APPLICATION PROCESS

NOTE:  *Online submissions only*

• PREVIEW the Endorsement Application in PDF format to prepare.
• BEGIN the application process by accessing the online link here.
• PROVIDE the required responses. 
• SUBMIT the application. You will then receive an automatic confirmation that it has been submitted and received. 

INTERVIEW PROCESS
Once we receive your application, we will set up a 30 minute Zoom interview with you and the Endorsement Committee to be completed by April 3, 2023.

ENDORSEMENT NOTIFICATION

You will be notified by email by April 28, 2023 if you have received an NWPC-VA endorsement.
